Al-Rahman (The Merciful) - Chapter 55: Verses 26-27

"All that is on earth will perish, but the Face of your Lord will abide forever - Full of
Majesty, Bounty and Honour."

To entice us to remember Him and to love Him Allah has used the beautiful words Wajh Allah or the Face of Allah in this verse.

Best-Winner System

Abdur Raheem Green, formerly Anthony Vatswaf Galvin Greenabdur raheem green

Let me introduce myself and my background.
I was born in Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.
My father at the time was a colonial administrator in the now defunct British empire.
An empire that stretched once upon a time not that long ago over one third of the earth’s surface.
Now the only thing left is some islands in the Falklands and that’s all that’s left there. How things changed!
How the mighty have fallen!
This is a lesson that Allah the Almighty tells us in the Quran to travel the earth and see the consequence. See what happened to people who came before you, who were mightier in power and strength and see what’s left of them.
So anyway back to my father, a colonial administrator in Tanzania where I was born, and my parents named me Anthony Vatswaf Galvin Green. OK, I thought you were going to laugh! Vatswaf is a Polish name because my mother in fact is Polish.

Afro-Arab Cooperation

by Assad Bhuglah

The Afro-Arab relations can be traced back thousands of years ago when the African and Arab coasts of the Indian Ocean served an important platform of interaction between the two regions. Mauritius, which was initially known as Dina Arabi, had been one of the transit points of the maritime trade route used by Arab mariners. Due to the strategic and economic importance of Africa and the Arab lands, both of them have suffered same experience from the colonial and imperialist forces. Geographical proximity, history and cultural links have helped the peoples of the two regions to forge solidarity and common front against colonial exploitation, dependence and backwardness.

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him
at the door.
SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?" replied the man.
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "That’s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.
SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "If you must know, I make Rs.100 an hour."
SON: "Oh," the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow Rs.50?"
